Great guys and great musicians. They play some traditional stuff in a mostly non traditional style. Expect to hear some amazing original songs and some great guitar solos. They often have guests with them so all shows are unique. They play quite a bit in north eastern iowa, but still find some time to make it down to Des Moines and Iowa City.

The Burlington Street Bluegrass Band

Iowa City, Iowa

Former Bluegrass Boy, Bob Black, heads up this band of great pickers and singers. Traditional and original bluegrass songs done very well. They play quite often in Iowa City, hopefully they will make it to Des Moines sometime.
